Ya Gurl Tkay Maidza Headliner Tour & M.O.B Video
Our girl Tkay Maidza has found her stride, and rightly so. Fresh from her outstanding performance at Splendour in the Grass and supporting legendary producer Mark Ronson, the girl has just dropped her video to ‘M.O.B.’ aaaaaaand announced a national tour.

As for her ‘M.O.B.’ video, well it’s her second project working with cult animators Adult Swim as she returns to the depiction of her cartoon self, much like her ‘Switch Lanes’ video from last year. However, this time she is a space-exploring babe fighting against her own evil self. So it’s bad Tkay Maidza versus good Tkay Maidza. Which do your prefer?
The video also features scenes of real-life Maidza’s face in opposing black and white backgrounds reminiscent of the Mulligrubs from the 90s. Aaaabsolute classic. Making the old school new school. We likey.
‘M.O.B.’ has topped the alternative radio charts and is now making an imprint on commercial radio, following her sold-out M.O.B. National Australian Tour, supports with Charli XCX and recent UK tour with Years & Years.
Safe to say, Tkay Maidza is well on track to becoming Australia’s alternative rap golden girl.
