Win a Bloody Good ‘Laff

The Monash Law Comedy Revue is gearing up for its 2012 season, and in keeping with the building oi-oi-oi Olympics frenzy, its cast is composed entirely of former bronze medallists. (Rest assured they’re better at making you laugh than they ever were at their sports.)

“… its cast is composed entirely of former bronze medallists.”

This year’s sketch comedy show stars Danny Bakhsh, Matt Gotch, Harley Hefford, Caitlin McInnis, Carly Milroy, Olly Morris, Sharnti Phillips and Robert White. No, it’s not some exclusive Monash thing, and no, it’s not about tort law and contracts. If you like doing that thing where you open your mouth make happy, convulsive snorting sounds in appreciation of something droll, then you’ll probably like the Law Revue.

In its 15th year, the Monash Law Comedy Revue has spawned a lot of funny folk, including Vachel Spirason and Stephanie Brotchie of Slow Clap as well as Will and Woody of Fox FM’s The Will and Woody Show.

Shows will take place at Richmond’s Grand Central Hotel on August 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10 & 11. All proceeds from the performances on August 3 and 8 will be donated to the Leukemia Foundation, so you can have a chuckle and do A Good Deed at the same time.

Tickets are available for purchase here at $15, but the Monash Law Comedy Revue is giving away a couple of tickets to one happy Vulture. Just email will@vulturemagazine.com.au with the words “Monash Law Comedy Revue” in the subject line and you’ll be in it to win it!
