Vulture 4:20 March 20
We know it. It’s a Friday arvo and you’re doing bugger all. Don’t you fucking lie to us. With that in mind, every week we’re going to offer you a new track to start your weekend off the right way, followed by some cool shit to do in the best city; Melbourne. People, the weekend is almost upon us. Crack a frothy, shut down your word document and crank this track. You bloody deserve it!
4:20PM : We’ve heard this rad track on Triple J and just couldn’t stop thinking about it. It took us 5 days of intense research to find the artist and title. And here it is : ‘Wolf’ from French DJ Pyramid. Sick.
8PM : You wanna have fun. You wanna listen to good and catchy music that will make you dance. And you are lucky. Because Northeast Party House are beginning their Double Darts Tour tonight at the Hi-Fi Melb. Oh, you want some more? Just follow them to their after party at The Liberty Social. You’re welcome.
10AM : If you feel like waking up early, having a fresh organic coffee and listening to some chill tunes whilst enjoying a beautiful green spot in Brunswick, the Harvest Ceres Festival is the way to go. There will be heaps of workshops, markets, food and other cool stuff that will make you feel peaceful and refreshed.
3PM : The Pinnacle in Fitzroy North is celebrating live music by organizing an annual festival: The Pinnyfest. Bands will be playing from 3pm till late and it’s all free. Also, their beautiful garden and delicious beers selection will make it even more worth it.
12PM : The French Film Festival in Melbourne is reaching its end. Sunday is the last day for you fresh and cultured people to enjoy a nice movie made of french kissing and cigarettes. We highly recommend Mia Hansen-Love’s semi-fiction ‘Eden’ about the French Touch and the increasing of electronic music in Paris.
6PM : If you don’t want to go to bed, you can still catch up with the Summer Series Closing Party at Revolver. We’ve heard there will be some tickets left at the door and you don’t want to miss this superDJ trio Dixon, Âme (live set) and Delano Smith. Have a great one lads and lassies
