Van She Announce Australian Headline Tour

To coincide with the release of their new album Idea of Happiness, Van She will kick off a nationwide tour in July.

Following a successful teaser tour in April, the headline tour takes in nine dates across Australia, starting in Perth on the eve of the official release of their new album on July 6. Supporting them on selected dates will be indie-dance trio RüFüS.

To mark this momentous occasion, Van She have released “Jamaica” – their second single from sophomore album Idea of Happiness. The single is described as “a romantic paean to an idyllic island in dreams” and “takes the sound of Idea Of Happiness out to the end of the jetty and kicks if off the edge and into the tropical depths.”

Whatever that actually means, it sounds magical and well worth a listen.

The lead single from the album, also titled “Idea Of Happiness” has been getting some serious love, added to high rotation at Triple J, over 150,000 streams on Soundcloud and YouTube and hitting #1 position on the Hype Machine charts.
