Tyler, the Creator & Toro Y Moi Collaborate

July 19, 2012 by Veronica Lee in Artists, Latest News with 0 Comments

Rumours of the pair working together first began when Toro Y Moi’s Chaz Bundick remixed Tyler the Creator’s Bastard cut ‘French’. After watching their constant tweets like it was tennis finals week, Tyler and Bundick have dropped their collaboration.

The much anticipated track is called ‘Hey You’, a perfect balance of Bundick’s groovy synth-pop and Tyler’s hip-hop. According to Bundick a studio version of ‘Hey You’ is on its way, but for now fans can enjoy their ‘leaked’ version, thanks to Tyler.

Odd Future have also announced release dates for a string of albums: Domo Genesis to release No Idols on August 1st, MellowHype to release Numbers on October 2nd and Tyler to release Wolf in November. The collective has also unveiled plans for a September tour called ‘Camp Flog Gnaw’ aka the ‘Odd Future Carnival’.
