Triple J One Night Stand Lineup Announced

February 28, 2013 by Jack in Festivals, Latest News with 0 Comments

Triple J’s One Night Stand is one of the most highly anticipated events on the national youth broadcaster’s calendar. It’s the biggest live event they put on, and in the past has attracted thousands of music fans in regional centres around the country to see the likes of The Temper Trap, Grinspoon, Matt Corby and Silverchair rock their little towns like they’ve never been rocked before.

one nightThis afternoon, the insufferable Doctor made the announcement that this year, they’ve gone through their address book and picked out four of their (once Unearthed) friends to play - Flume, The Rubens, Ball Park Music and Seth Sentry. Regional towns and cities around the country are no doubt shaking with anticipation as they await the announcement of where exactly in this wide brown land the party is going to pull in to. For the sake of spending the next two months hearing funny words on the radio, let’s hope they choose somewhere like Poowong, Rooty Hill or Dookie.
