The Rubens will embark on their ‘Never Be The Same’ national tour this April, in their biggest tour to date. Yay 2013

They will be joined by local favourite Oh Mercy and US indie rockers Walk The Moon on support.

Hailing from Menangle, NSW, the bluesy quartet have been killing it on their current overseas tour, with their first solo London show selling out in 7 minutes.

To add to an already awesome year, the guys will also be showcasing their talent at mega music conference SXSW this March.

It’s all non-stop until heading back to Australia in time to support Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band at Hanging Rock, followed by a well-earned break to recharge for their 18-date tour.

For a band that only formed close to 2 years ago, The Rubens have had a very successful run lately, with their self-titled album coming in at #1 on the iTunes chart, the album debuting at an impressive #3 on the ARIA Album chart, and the track ‘My Gun’ winning the J Award for Unearthed Artist Of The Year, just to name a few achievements.

Undoubtedly it’s all down to The Rubens’ outstanding talent, hard work and phenomenal fans.

Tickets to The Rubens’ ‘Never Be The Same’ tour go on sale on Friday 1 March at 9am.
