The Murlocs National Tour Announced

The Murlocs are set to release their second full-length LP Young Blindness on Friday 18 March through Flightless/Remote Control Records. The garage R&B outfit have already given us a taste of what to expect, featuring tracks ‘Adolescence’ and ‘Rolling On’ in addition to the latest single ‘Compensation’.

Since forming in 2011, The Murlocs have gained a loyal following and have previously secured themselves support slots with the likes of Mac DeMarco, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Thee Oh Sees. 2015 also saw them play on the bill of Boogie Festival, and later this year the band will be playing Levitation in Austin, Texas.

Known for an energetic live show full of raw guitar licks and the screeching vocals of Ambrose Kenny Smith, the five-piece will be embarking on a seven date tour across Australia in light of the latest release. The band will be playing dates in Adelaide, Perth, Fremantle, Melbourne and Sydney during March and April.

Oh, did anyone say .99 cent beers? Melbourne audiences will be treated to the insanely cheap price of .99 cents pots at both The John Curtin Hotel and The Tote. Thanks in advance to you Uncle Murl.
