Stereosonic 2012 Lineup Announced

July 5, 2012 by Jack in Festivals, Latest News with 0 Comments

Holy freakin’ shitballs. The Stereosonic 2012 lineup was announced today, and it’s a doozy.

Heading the bill is Dutch colossus Tiesto, only the biggest and most successful DJ in the world right now. Avicii is returning after commanding huge crowds at Stereosonic 2011, and dancefloor darling Calvin Harris is coming to give love to those of us who were born in the eighties.  Our highlight of Parklife 2011, Diplo, is coming and bringing his whole ridonkulous Major Lazer crew with him, Carl Cox once again has his own stage, and the inclusion of Dash Berlin and Sander van Doorn will keep trance heads happy. Dubsteppers Datsik, Flux Pavillion and Bassnectar will shake your brain around, while Van She and Tommy Trash head up the local contingent.

Stereosonic takes place all over the country in late November and early December, with the Adelaide and Melbourne shows happening on the same day with artists flying between each city, Falls-style. Tickets are on sale 9 am Thursday 2nd August through Ticketmaster.
