Seeking Mister Greene

July 13, 2012 by Jennifer Down in Artists, Latest News with 0 Comments

Gird your loins, east coast. Paul Greene is fresh off the plane from China, and he’s taking his blend of acoustic pop and pub rock on the road again – this time on home soil.

The acclaimed singer-songwriter (and former Olympic athlete – life’s not fair) is set to play a series of east coast shows for his Seek What You’ll Find tour, in support of his second single.

Behind the Stars, Greene’s seventh studio album, has been praised by critics, with The Australians Stephen Fitzpatrick declaring him a “dead-set champion”. Melding frank lyrics with pop, blues and rock references, Behind the Stars is an accessible, easy listen – but never boring. Lead track ‘Crossfire’ has enjoyed support from triple j and Radio Australia, as well as commercial stations. Driving and anthemic, it was also named Album of the Week on ABC Dig Radio, and was most recently announced as a finalist in the Alternative category of the MusicOz Awards 2012.

A powerful and much-loved live act, Greene will play a number of shows in regional areas in Victoria, NSW and Queensland. Dates below.
