Roll Up To Circus Oz!

February 25, 2013 by Ashleigh Falls in Latest News, Things To Do with 0 Comments

Roll up, roll up, roll up to the hottest circus to hit Australian shores in approximately forever. That’s right, Circus Oz is back, bigger and better than ever before!

Circus OzFresh from touring regional Australia, a New York City run of standing ovations and an extended season across the rest of America, the touring circus has revamped their 2012 show ‘From the Ground Up’ and transformed it into a hilarious new act that goes by the name of ‘Cranked Up’! The production has been honed and road-hardened and allowed to play hilariously fast and loose. Expect the irreverent Circus Oz spirit, revel in seeing some of the company’s much loved characters again, and thrill at some daring new feats as Mark Shepard steps into the shoes of roving Indigenous provocateur/MC/host/ringleader/silly bugger.

Circus Oz is a rock ‘n’ roll, animal free art form that completely ignores the stereotypes associated with Australian culture and has impacted circus acts around the world since its foundation in 1978 – and this year turns 35! So why not see an act about Australian culture actually formed in Australia?

You can witness all of the tomfoolery in June and July, so make sure to release your inner child to one hell of a spectacular event.
