Rob Zombie’s Mondo Sex Head

If there’s anything that gives us nightmares, it’s the thought of Rob Zombie living under our bed. He’s a scary motherfucker. We haven’t heard anything from the great man in a little while, but we’re excited to announce the release of Mondo Sex Head: a compilation of remixed Rob Zombie songs by some of today’s top DJs, including the Bloody Beetroots, Photek and Drumcorps.

It’s not the first time this legend of heavy metal, horror films and, apparently CSI: Miami , has dabbled in the genre of dance, having released two remix albums prior; Supersexy Swingin Sounds in 1996 and American Made Music to Strip By in 1999. Clearly this man has a one-track mind…and we like it.

“I like the idea of taking songs and reconfiguring them,” says Zombie, who is taking an alternative approach in the digital retail space.

We’re especially looking forward to hearing ‘Devil’s Hole Girls (Tobias Enhus Remix ft The Jane Cornish String Quartet)’ because we have no fucking idea how it’s going to sound.

Mondo Sex Head is out August 13 thanks to Universal Music.
