Parklife 2012 Announcement

June 19, 2012 by Soph Goulopoulos in Featured, Festivals with 2 Comments

The line up is finally out for Parklife: the spring festival that, for many of us, awakes us from our wintery slumber and kicks off the festival season. Parklife organisers have appeared to return the festival to its roots, as revellers this year will experience a heavy dance presence, although we must admit a couple of acts have us a little thrown (erm, Tame Impala?).

Highlights include Sydney duo The Presets who will make their first live appearance since their triple platinum rager Apocolypso hooked us in 2008. Their highly anticipated third album is due for release in September. Nero (live) will surely have us thrashing around the d-floor like nobody’s business, with their debut album Welcome Reality achieving gold status in Australia in 2011; and the loveable Passion Pit, whose sophomore album Gossamer is due for release on the 24th of July.
