Gomez Announce a Sassy Tour with extra Sass. Sass yeah!

July 9, 2012 by Carl Dziunka in Artists, Latest News with 0 Comments

It’s happening again! Gomez has announced they will be touring Australia in October and we have the equivalent of an ‘aegypine erection’ (find what this means here). Having formed in the North West England seaside town of Southport in 1997, they are now celebrating 15 years of being together. And Celebrate they will.

This is building to be one of the must see shows of the year so keep October free.”

Calling this The Quinceanera Tour (meaning one who is fifteen); they want to involve their dedicated fans to be a major part of the tour. Fans are invited to help choose the set list for this tour so if you have a favorite track of Gomez, and you should have many, you can enter your top five songs you want to hear. If your choices receive the most votes, then it’s on the list and you can blabber to your mate when you hear it that “I fucken chose this song man, I knew they’d fucken play it. I love Gomez. Let’s get another beer.”

Having first toured Australia in 2000 and returning on many occasions to celebrate new releases, play festivals and keep their army of fans satisfied, this time they make it even more personal. Not only can you be a part of having your say of what makes it to the set list, you can also get access to the lads themselves. After buying your ticket, you can purchase an upgrade package which will include:

  • After show meet and greet.
  • Silkscreened Tour Poster.
  • Exclusive Downloads of rare, live tracks.
  • “Whatever’s on your Mind” Autographed CD.

A must for all dedicated Gomez fans out there, this tour will be one hell of a good time and these boys want to share the support that has been shown to them over the last 15 years. The tour kicks off in Darwin on Wednesday 10th October and is an extensive East Coast journey. Taking in Cairns, Townsville, Coolangatta, Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney and ending with a two night stand in Melbourne. This is building to be one of the must see shows of the year so keep October free and go and show your support for 15 years of great Gomezsounds. You know it makes sense- We’re Vulture Magazine (get it?).
