Custom Kings, Cold Hiker, Pretty Littles set to Celebrate

We’re turning one year old and we’re fucking happy about it! Sometimes birthdays come and go without much notice but we’re far too full of ourselves to lay low. To celebrate we’re throwing a whopper of a party at Red Bennies on Chapel Street tomorrow night, Thursday June 21st and we’ve invited some of Melbourne’s most scorching bands to play for you to sex up the night.

Headlining the evening will be the Custom Kings. Damn right you read correctly- the MOTHER-FUCKING-CUSTOM-KINGS who haven’t played a gig in over a year but are dusting off their instruments to bring you that summer chill out vibe that they’re famous for conjuring in the middle of WINTER. Having all been involved in different projects over the last 12 months including Eagle and the Worm the boys are back and we are frothing at the gash.

As well on display will be The Pretty Littles who are making some serious musical waves with their brand of rock. If you haven’t heard of these fellas then you’ll soon get a chub/get moist for them.

Cold Hiker, those pesky little fuckers from Melbourne, will also be dishing out their brand of alternative tunes. Having supported Britsh India, Hunting Grounds and DJ Yoda recently these boys are a professional unit with a fuck-load of talent and a flair for enchanting crowds. Watch out for their lead singers’ vocals- it’s like Jeff Buckly never left us! Bass player, Dylan Savage, promises to drink a yard glass if the crowd is big enough and raucous enough.

Warming up the masses will be The Other Side of the Fence who are guatanteed to give you that fuzzy, warm, content feeling similar to just after you’ve blown your load with that person you’ve been wanting to bump naughties with for yonks. These guys are legit and you’ll be hearing plenty from them over the next little while. Keep an eye out for their front-woman- she is a sex machine!

To top off the evening will be Vulture’s number 1 unsung DJ- DJ Prenup. We’ve seen this guy totally dominate house parties like Gina Rinehart to Fairfax so we thought we’d give him the floor for 3 hours! He’ll make your body do things that you never thought possible and his sheer good-looks will have hormones flowing in a nasty way

That’s some darn good reasons to come and get shitfaced with us. But we know you enjoy a few well priced snifters when checking out Melbourne’s best music so we’ve arm wrestled with Red Bennies and come out on top to offer you some FUCKING CHEAP DRINKS! We’re talking $3 pots, $6 spirits, $4 vodkas, $4 pizzas and a FREE DRINK ON ENTRY! You won’t find cheaper anywhere in Melbourne and it’ll last allllllllllllllll night until 3am! We’re not doing this half-arsed!

All of this for only $12 bucks but tickets to the event are selling mighty fast so grab yours here http://www.trybooking.com/Booking/BookingEventSummary.aspx?eid=26750 and use the secret code word of ‘Vulture’.

We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
