Blink 182 Confirmed for Soundwave 2013

It’s been confirmed. After the excitement a few weeks back of Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker sort of, almost announcing that some of the band might possibly be here next year, the Twitter-addicted Soundwave boss AJ Maddah confirmed their addition to the Soundwave 2013 lineup with a tweet last week that simply read: MARK + TOM + TRAVIS. Yes, TRAVIS. #SW13 #BLINK182.

It appears that Barker is committed to overcoming his fear of flying, so he’ll be able to join Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge on stage for Australia’s biggest heavy music festival. Rumour has it the full Soundwave lineup will be revealed on Wednesday morning, and Vulture will be sure to bring you all the acts as soon as they’re announced!
