Andrew WK Parties Harder Than You

February 21, 2012 by Nupre in Artists with 0 Comments

Long before LMFAO shuffled along with their leopard print Speedos, stupid hair and equally stupid fans, Andrew WK was proving himself to be the true pioneer of Party Rock anthems. And he’ll soon be bringing the party back down under. Exploding onto the scene with his debut album I Get Wet in 2001 featuring tracks like It’s Time To Party, Party Hard and Party Til You Puke, and one of the most distinctive and controversial album covers in recent history, Andrew WK has since expanded into a Grammy-nominated record producer, a sought after motivational speaker, and is the host of a popular television series, Destroy Build Destroy, which draws over 1.5 million viewers a week. He also co-owns the Santos Party House concert venue and nightclub in New York City, which he opened with his friends in 2008. He also parties so hard that he once broke his foot on stage, signed autographs from the ambulance, and finished the tour performing from a wheelchair.

Don't let this picture fool you – he actually parties really hard

…He once broke his foot on stage, signed autographs from the ambulance, and finished the tour performing from a wheelchair.

In addition to his spot on the nationwide Groovin the Moo festival, Andrew WK will be taking his one-man-party band around the country for a series of sideshows, and the Vulture will be there slam dancing, head banging, and feeling fucking terrific along with him. Still need convincing? Check out the video below from his set at Meredith in 2007, and then try and tell us you don’t feel like partying til you puke.
