An Acoustic Evening with Ben Harper

When we here at the Vulture nest heard the phrase “An Acoustic Evening with Ben Harper” the reaction was palpable. There were sighs, swoons and declarations of undying love- and that was just from the dudes.

This November, Ben Harper will be making his triumphant return to our shores after releasing his latest effort Give Till It’s Gone. We can only hope that this is some sort of promise for the kind of show he intends to give, because he will be playing three dates in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Each one promises to be an intimate night full of tracks from all his albums, and since Harper hasn’t graced us with his presence since 2002, we are absolutely frothing at the bit to get involved. Pre-sale starts at 1pm on Friday the 6^th of July, with general sale starting at 9am on Wednesday the 11^th, so jump on it kidlets.

Harper has been captivating audiences for years with his superb live skills, his music ranging from southern Gospel, 70s funk, blues, reggae, to straightforward rock and roll. If that doesn’t entice you, you need to get your head checked.
